In 2023, for the Year of the Rabbit, Izakaya Mew launched a poster design project. The concept, "a rabbit welcoming guests at the entrance," was designed with a style reminiscent of Haruki Murakami’s book covers, reflecting Izakaya Mew's muse. Additionally, the design drew inspiration from the restaurant's interior characteristics, depicting a rabbit ascending the restaurant's 地下 stairway, thereby reinforcing Mew’s identity.

This project was conducted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Japanese restaurant "Izakaya Mew" as a limited-edition release.
Four of Izakaya Mew's signature dishes were carefully selected and designed to reflect the restaurant's youthful and playful character. The Japanese menu items were illustrated with a witty and cute aesthetic, inspired by a classic American old-school style. The final result, which harmoniously incorporated Izakaya Mew's signature colors of red and black, was both visually appealing and enjoyable to work on.
